Crane Norway Group orders nine new Demag cranes

ZWEIBRÜCKEN – May 16, 2017 – Nordic Crane Vest AS, a part of Crane Norway Group, has signed an order for eight new Demag® all terrain cranes, ranging from 130- to 250-tonne lifting capacities. The company has already taken delivery of a new 650-tonne Demag CC 3800-1 crawler crane.

“As a leading supplier for crane rentals for oil, gas and wind turbine applications in the Norwegian market, Crane Norway Group AS has invested NOK 200 million in the last 12 months on new cranes, trucks and transport equipment to strengthen its position as a trusted supplier of lifting and transportation services in Norway. The design and the long booms on the Demag cranes, as well as the service we receive from Terex Cranes after the sale, really contribute to jobsite productivity and a good return on our investment,” says Crane Norway Group CEO Trond Helge Skretting. “We are pleased to relaunch this reputable brand to customers in Norway.”

The additional eight cranes on order — three Demag AC 250-5, two AC 160-5 and three AC 130-5 all terrain cranes — will be delivered throughout the year and will be added to the company’s existing fleet of nearly 40 Demag and Terex cranes.
