Interkran AG orders two Demag all terrain cranes
ZWEIBRÜCKEN – February 6, 2018 – Switzerland-based Interkran AG is adding a Demag® AC 300-6 and a Demag AC 100-4L all terrain cranes to their fleet.
“It is the first time that we buy Demag cranes. We visited the Zweibrücken factory in October and were really impressed with the new Demag product line and innovations.” explains Tony Teixeira, CEO for Interkran AG. “The AC 300-6 will be our largest all terrain till date and support our ever growing business through its outstanding capacity and boom length. The AC 100-4L with its compact dimensions gives us access to the even tightest jobsites across Switzerland.”
Christian Kassner, Terex Cranes Senior Sales Manager, said: “We are delighted to count Interkran as a new customer, and we hope that our relationship will last for many years, if not decades. We are proud to serve them and to witness that they acknowledge the quality of our Demag products.”
The new six axle Demag AC 300-6 all-terrain crane, boasting a 300 t (350 US ton) classification, features an 80 m (262.5 ft) main boom and is the first crane of its size in the Demag range equipped with a luffing jib. This new 6-axle Demag all terrain crane delivers strength, reach and versatility needed for accomplishing the most demanding jobs at lower operational and transporting costs than similar models in its class.
Using input from Demag customers as the foundation, Terex Cranes announced multiple product updates to the Demag AC 100-4L all terrain crane a few months ago. One of the most compact cranes in the 100-t (120-US-ton) class, the redesigned AC 100-4L crane features a new design that improves lifting performance, especially when working at steep main boom positions.
The two Demag all terrain cranes will be delivered in summer 2018.
